The Outlast Trials

The Outlast Trials is a first-person survival horror game developed by Red Barrels, serving as a prequel to the acclaimed Outlast series. Set during the Cold War, players become test subjects in a sinister experiment conducted by the Murkoff Corporation, aiming to test advanced methods of brainwashing and mind control.

Key Highlights:

• Cooperative Gameplay: Experience terror alone or with up to four players in cooperative multiplayer mode. Teamwork is essential to survive the trials and overcome the horrors.
• Diverse Abilities (Rigs): Choose from six distinct Rigs, each offering unique abilities such as seeing items and enemies through walls, healing teammates, deploying smoke bomb mines, stunning enemies, or reinforcing barricades to impede pursuers.
• Night-Vision Goggles: Navigate through dark environments using night-vision goggles, which require regular recharging with scarce batteries.
• Stealth and Strategy: Employ stealth tactics to evade grotesque enemies. Use items like bricks and glass bottles to distract or temporarily stun adversaries, as direct combat is not an option.
• Challenging Objectives: Complete primary and secondary objectives within each trial to progress and earn higher grades.
