Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is the highly anticipated sequel to Hideo Kojima’s 2019 genre-bending action-adventure. Developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, it’s set for release on June 26, 2025 exclusively for PlayStation 5.

• The game takes place eleven months after the events of the first Death Stranding, with much of the journey unfolding across a hauntingly beautiful yet hostile post-apocalyptic Australia (and parts of Mexico).
• You once again step into the boots of Sam Porter Bridges (Norman Reedus), joined by returning characters Fragile (Léa Seydoux) and Higgs (Troy Baker), plus a star-studded new cast including Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and Luca Marinelli.
• The mission: reconnect isolated survivors to the chiral network and stave off humanity’s extinction, while facing otherworldly threats and navigating treacherous terrain.
